Dr. Shrivastava brings extensive knowledge and expertise to Transformational Alliances. He received his Sleep Medicine training at Stanford University and has board certifications in Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Polysomnographic Technology.


Presently, he is a Professor of Internal Medicine, Sleep Medicine, and Pulmonary and Critical Care at UC Davis School of Medicine.


He also serves as Chief of Sleep, Critical Care and Pulmonary Services at San Joaquin General Hospital.


In addition, Dr. Shrivistava is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the School of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, California and is a Senior Faculty Member in the Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program at UC Davis.


He is affiliated with the University of California School of Medicine and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American Federation for Clinical Research. He has received many academic and service awards.


He is an active researcher, inventor, and has a keen interest in medical education. He lectures nationally and internationally; his teaching efforts are known around the world. Throughout his 35-plus years in medicine, Dr. Shrivastava has been and continues to be directly involved in health care quality and performance improvement activities. He actively works to influence health care policy both at the administrative and political levels and is a member of the California Coalition of Compassionate Care, a state-level organization that sets the administrative policies for the end-of-life care and delivery of health care.
